## Support for a PingID consistent passwordless authentication experience

New PingID integration for PingFederate

The PingID adapter now supports a new consistent passwordless authentication experience across all relevant devices (including FIDO2 passkeys and PingID desktop app).

Learn more in [Configuring a PingFederate policy for a consistent passwordless authentication experience](../pingid_integrations/pid_configuring_pf_policy_for_passwordless_authentication.html).

## PingID adapter support for PingOne custom domains

Improved PingID integration for PingFederate

The PingID adapter now fully supports PingOne domains. This enhancement enables customers using [custom domains](http://docs.pingidentity.com/pingone/settings/p1_set_up_custom_domain.html) to authenticate with FIDO2 devices registered under those domains.

## Security enhancements

Improved PingID integration for PingFederate

We made some security enhancements.

## Passwordless flow requesting second factor authentication

Fixed TRIAGE-30369 PingID integration for PingFederate

Fixed an issue that was causing passwordless flows to require a second factor when the PingID Adapter was connected to PingOne using an OIDC application. The DaVinci flow now approves the second step if the MFA configuration allows it.

## Issue saving the local fallback devices for some users

Fixed TRIAGE-31582 PingID integration for PingFederate

We've fixed an issue that was preventing the PingID adapter from saving the local fallback devices list for users whose User DN attribute contained special characters.
