# PingID SSH Integration 4.4.0 (May 19, 2026)

## Minimum OpenSSL version

When installing the PingID integration with SSH from source files, your installed OpenSSL must now be version 1.1.1 or later.

## Tested operating systems

The operating systems on which the integration with SSH has been tested have been expaned to include AIX 7.3 and Solaris 11.

## File permission requirements

PingID now requires that the PingID properties file and the `pingid.conf` file have 644 permissions (write-access only for the file owner). If this file permission requirement is not met, you will see a message to this effect in the log file.
