# LexisNexis InstantID Question and Answer (IIDQA)

[LexisNexis InstantID Question and Answer (IIDQA)](https://risk.lexisnexis.com/products/instantid-q-and-a) supports rapid consumer onboarding, helps prevent and detect identity theft, and fortifies compliance through question-based authentication tools. The IIDQA nodes provide the capability to integrate knowledge-based authentication (KBA) into your journeys.

IIDQA is primarily integrated into the following orchestration journeys:

* Login MFA for medium to high risk transactions

* New account origination to prevent synthetic accounts and validate that the account is linked to a physical person with high fidelity

## Example

The following example shows a registration journey using the LexisNexis IIDQA nodes:

* A Page node gathers information from the user for registration identity proofing and places the data in shared state.

* The [LexisNexis InstantID Get Quiz node](lexis-iidqa-get-quiz.html) uses the user parameters to make an API request to the DDP Authentication Hub to generate a quiz. If the information results in a physical identity match, the node generates a quiz.

* The [LexisNexis InstantID Quiz Collector node](lexis-iidqa-quiz-collector.html) displays the quiz and collects the user's answers.

* The [LexisNexis InstantID Quiz Decision node](lexis-iidqa-quiz-decision.html) validates the quiz answers against the DDP IIDQA policy.

* Message nodes display the results or error conditions.

## Setup

You must configure the DDP portal to enable integration with Advanced Identity Cloud. Complete the following configuration steps:

1. Get configuration details such as `Org ID` and API key for the REST API interface from the LexisNexis DDP portal.

2. Configure DDP portal policies to enable access to IIDQA services from Advanced Identity Cloud.
