# Salesforce Connector
The Salesforce connector lets you manage users and records in Salesforce from your PingOne DaVinci flows.
You can use the Salesforce connector to:
* Read, create, and update users.
* Read, update, and search records.
* Upload documents.
* Set up a custom API call to Salesforce.

### Requirements
To use the connector, you'll need:
* A Salesforce administrator account
* Your Salesforce access and connected app information:
* Username
* Salesforce domain name
### Setting up Salesforce
To configure the Salesforce environment to use the Salesforce connector in DaVinci:
1. Sign on to a Salesforce production, developer, or sandbox account.
2. Create a new application to tie to the Salesforce connector:
1. In the **Platform Tools** section, click **App Manager**.
2. Click **New Connected App**.
3. Complete the required fields for app name, API name, and contact email.
