# Enterprise Connect Passwordless Mac Agent

You must [install](../passwordless-servers/install-servers.html) and [configure](../passwordless-servers/configure-mgmt-console.html) Enterprise Connect Passwordless Servers before you can configure and deploy the Enterprise Connect Passwordless Mac Agent.

Using the Enterprise Connect Passwordless Mac Agent (ECP Mac Agent) authentication provider in conjunction with standard interfaces to Active Directory (AD), this password-free solution replaces AD passwords with a stronger, more secure alternative.

As a result, you can do the following:
