# Preparing the `idp-metadata.xml` file

## Steps

1. Edit the `idp-metadata.xml` file that is packaged with the Coupa connector in a text editor.

2. Replace `<YOUR_ENTITY_DESCRIPTOR_ID>` with the ID you obtained in [Obtaining the EntityDescriptor's ID from your SP connection](pf_coupa_connector_obtaining_the_entitydescriptors_id_from_your_sp_connection.html).

3. Replace `<YOUR_PF_ENTITY_ID>` with the PingFederate Entity ID you obtained in [Enabling provisioning and single sign-on (SSO) in PingFederate](pf_coupa_connector_enabling_provisioning_and_single_sign_on_in_pf.html).

4. Replace `<YOUR_PF_BASE_URL>` with the PingFederate base URL you obtained in [Enabling provisioning and single sign-on (SSO) in PingFederate](pf_coupa_connector_enabling_provisioning_and_single_sign_on_in_pf.html).

5. Save your changes.
