# IIS agent system requirements

The PingAccess agent for IIS is supported on the following platforms:

* Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 10.0 running on Windows Server 2016

  |   | When importing key pairs exported from PingAccess 8.3 or later into IIS on Windows Server 2016, IIS returns a `Password is not correct` message, regardless of whether the password is correct.This issue happens because Windows 2016 doesn't support the algorithm that PingAccess 8.3 and later use to encrypt private keys for PFX certificates. |

* Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 10.0 running on Windows Server 2019

* Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 10.0 running on Windows Server 2022

All the other dependencies required for the agent are included in the `.msi` installation package.

As with any system that is reachable from the internet, the server should be properly hardened.
