# Removing engine nodes

Remove an engine node from the cluster.

## Steps

1. Click **Settings**, then go to **Clustering > Engines**.

2. To permanently remove all references to the node from the cluster, expand the engine node you want to delete and click the **Delete** icon.

3. In the confirmation window, click **Delete**.
