# Supported callbacks

AM supports the following callback types.

| Callback type                                   | Use                                                                                |
| ----------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| [Interactive](authn-interactive-callbacks.html) | Request information.                                                               |
| [Read-only](authn-read-only-callbacks.html)     | Return information to the client application, potentially for display to the user. |
| [Backchannel](authn-backchannel-callbacks.html) | Recover additional information from the user's request.                            |
