# Problems with the admin console

To troubleshoot problems with the admin console, consider these potential causes:

* The web application container used to host the console isn't running. If an error occurs while trying to start it, consult the logs for the web application container.

* If a problem occurs while trying to authenticate to the web application container, make sure the target PingAuthorize Server is online. If it is online, the access log might provide information about the reasons for the authentication failure.
