# Viewing the monitor dashboard

Use the PingAuthorize admin console to view real-time server status and monitor key performance and health metrics.

## Before you begin

Ensure that the PingAuthorize Server is running.

To view the monitor dashboard:

## Steps

1. In your browser, enter http\://\<server-root>:8443/console.

2. Enter the root user's distinguished name (DN) and password and click **Login**.

3. In the sidebar, click **Status**.

4. Click the **Monitors** tab.

## Result

The monitor dashboard opens, and you can monitor your server using the admin console.
