# Managing your accounts

Use the PingID mobile app to view, pair, or remove additional accounts to which you want to authenticate.

| | If you use PingID as your authenticator app, you can also add third-party accounts. Learn more in [Pairing PingID mobile app as an authenticator app](../pid_mobile_app/ma_as_authenticator_app.html). |

## Before you begin

Ensure you have installed the PingID mobile app and used it to pair at least one organization account to your mobile device.

Organization accounts display an office icon (![Image showing an office icon](../pid_mobile_app/_images/Icon_Organization.png)) next to the entry in the **Authentication** tab.

## About this task

* You can use the PingID mobile app to authenticate to any organization that is paired to the mobile app.

## Steps

1. Sign on to the account or service of the new organization.

   ### Result:

The **Authentication** window appears, displaying the QR code and pairing key.

2. Open PingID on your mobile device, tap the **+** button, and then tap **Scan the QR code**.

   | - | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
   | | If you aren't able to scan the QR code, tap **Enter Pairing Key** instead, to enter the pairing key manually, and then tap **Pair**. |

   ### Result:

The organization is added to the accounts list in the **Authentication** tab, and you can use the PingID mobile app to authenticate when accessing your account in that organization.

3. To delete an account, in the **Authentication** tab:

   1. Click the account, tap the **More Options (⋮)** button. Select **Remove Account** icon, and then confirm your choice.

      ### Result:

The selected account is unpaired. It no longer appears in your accounts list, and you can no longer use PingID mobile app to authenticate to that organization.
