# Configuring flows using the PingOne for Customers Passwordless wizard

Use the PingOne for Customers Passwordless wizard to test your configuration.

## Steps

1. In PingOne, click **Getting Started**.

2. Click **Registration** and select a registration experience.

   ### Choose from:

   * **Passwords**: Users sign on using a password, possibly also using multi-factor authentication (MFA) *(tooltip: \

     \
An electronic authentication method where a user is granted access only after presenting two or more verification factors for authentication.\

     \
)* or adaptive risk signals.

   * **Passwordless**: Users sign on using their device, a one-time passcode (OTP) *(tooltip: \

     \
A passcode valid for only one sign-on or transaction on a computer system or other digital device. Also known as a one-time password, one-time PIN, or dynamic password.\

     \
)*, biometrics, or other options. Passwords can be permitted as well depending on environment settings.

3. If you selected **Passwords**:

   1. Select a registration option.

   Choose from:

   * **Standard registration**: Collects name and password, and collects and verifies email address.

   * **Progressive profiling registration**: Collects name and password, collects and verifies email address, and progressively requests phone number verification.

     1. **Optional:** Select **Include Terms of Service Agreement** to require users to agree to an agreement before creating an account.

     2. Click **Next**.

4. If you selected **Passwordless**:

   1. Select an option for existing users:

      * **Offer passwordless**: Existing users can sign on with passwords but are prompted to add a non-password authentication method. New users automatically use passwordless authentication.

      * **Require passwordless**: All users must use passwordless authentication.

   2. Select one or more methods for passwordless authentication.

      | Method | Description |
      | --------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
      | **Email one-time passcode (OTP)** | The user signs on using a one-time passcode sent in an email. |
