# Deleting an API gateway

Remove API gateways and credentials that you no longer need.

## Steps

1. Go to **Authorization > API Gateways**, and click the API gateway you want to delete.

2. To delete a credential, click the **Delete** icon next to the credential.

3. To delete the API gateway, click the **More Options (⋮)** icon next to the API gateway name and then select **Delete**.

4. Select the **I understand and want to continue** check box, and then click **Delete**.
