# Deleting a module in PingOne Authorize

If you no longer need an authorization module, you can delete it.

You can't delete managed modules directly. To delete a managed API service module, delete the corresponding API service. Learn more in [Deleting an API service](p1az_delete_api_service_or_operation.html).

You can't delete a module if a version of it is deployed to a decision endpoint or Authorize gateway. To delete the module, [deploy a different module's version](p1az_publishing_versions.html) to any endpoints or gateways using this module, or delete the endpoints or gateways if they're no longer needed.

## Steps

1. In the PingOne admin console, go to **Authorization > Modules**.

2. Click the module that you want to delete.

3. In the details panel, click the **More Options (⋮)** icon next to the module name, and then select **Delete**.

4. Select the checkbox to confirm deletion, then click **Delete**.
