# Editing an API gateway

You can edit the gateway name and description. You can also disable an API gateway.

## Steps

1. Go to **Authorization > API Gateways**, and click the API gateway you want to edit.

2. To disable the gateway, click the toggle next to the API gateway name.

3. To edit the gateway, click the **More Options (⋮)** icon next to the API gateway name, and then select **Edit an API Gateway**.

4. Edit gateway settings.

5. Click **Finish & Save**.
