# Configuration promotion scenarios (early access)

For the purposes of these scenarios, we'll use the following configuration resources which will be referenced in steps and in screenshots. These resources are for example purposes only.

* Source environment: **Promotion-Source**

* Target environment: **Promotion-Target**

* PingOne applications:

  * **My First App** (scenario 1)

  * **My SAML app** (scenarios 2 and 5)

* PingOne DaVinci flow: **Test Registration, Password Reset, and Recovery** (scenario 3)

* DaVinci application: **PingOne SSO Connection** (scenario 4)

* DaVinci flow policies: **PingOne - Sign On and Registration** and **New flow policy** (scenario 4)

* **Test IdP** (scenario 6)

## Assumptions

The user performing the promotions has the Promotion Admin role in both environments, and the two environments include the following PingOne services:

* PingOne SSO

* PingOne MFA

* PingOne DaVinci

Each scenario includes instructions for how to configure the promotion, and then how to verify the results of the promotion.
