# Creating a provisioning connection

Create a provisioning connection in PingOne to automate the synchronization of user identity data between your external identity stores and the PingOne admin console.

## Steps

1. In the PingOne admin console, go to **Integrations > Provisioning**.

2. Click **[icon: plus, set=fa]**, and then click **New Connection**.

3. Follow the directions for the specific provisioning connection you want to create. Learn more about the available connections in [Provisioning connections](p1_connections_provisioning.html).
