# Deleting an identity provider

Use the **External IdPs** page to remove an external identity provider (IdP) *(tooltip: \<div class="paragraph">
\<p>A service that manages identity information and provides authentication services to relying clients or SPs within a federated or distributed network.\</p>
\</div>)* that you no longer need.

## Steps

1. In the PingOne admin console, go to **Integrations > External IdPs** and browse or search for the IdP you want to delete.

2. Click the **More Options** (⋮) icon

3. Click **Delete**.

4. In the confirmation message, click **Delete**.
