# Creating demo users

This task walks you through the creation of users that you'll use later for the user simulation.

## Steps

1. Go to **Directory > Users**.

2. On the **Users** page, click the **[icon: plus, set=fa]**icon.

3. In the **Add User** panel, enter a **Given Name** of `George` and a **Family Name** of `Jones`.

4. Enter a **Username** of `GeorgeJones`.

5. Click **Save**.

6. On the details panel for the user George Jones, click the options menu and then click **Reset Password** to create a temporary password so that George can log in to the web application that we'll create later.

7. Click the **[icon: plus, set=fa]**icon, and repeat these steps to create another user with the **Given Name** `Sally`, **Family Name** `Smith`, and **Username** `SallySmith`.

8. Add another user with **Given Name** `Lucy`, **Family Name** `Greene`, and **Username** `LucyGreene`.
