# Manage my directory

The My Directory section provides tools to manage your team and delegate responsibilities, ensuring that governance tasks are handled efficiently even when you are unavailable. This section is divided into two key areas:

* Delegates: Assign and manage trusted colleagues who can act on your behalf. This is particularly useful when you are out of the office, as it ensures that pending approvals and other time-sensitive tasks are addressed without delay.

* Direct Reports: View a list of your direct reports, giving you a clear overview of your team's structure and a starting point for reviewing and managing their access.
