# Phase 3 - Adopt and refine

After completing the transformation phase, your organization is ready to adopt PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud.

The actions to take in this phase are:

* Set up basic administration requirements:

  * Complete basic [tenant administration](../tenants/tenant-administrator-settings.html) tasks.

  * Review the [promotions process](../tenants/self-service-promotions.html) and [create ESVs](../tenants/esvs.html).

  * Establish and configure the [password policy](../realms/password-policy.html), [email templates](../tenants/email-templates.html) and [custom domains](../realms/custom-domains.html).

* Set up data migration:

  * Configure the required [connectors](../identities/sync-identities.html#about_identity_cloud_connectors) for data syncing.

  * Configure [synchronization](../idm-synchronization/mappings.html) mappings.

* Set up authentication and self-service [journeys](../journeys/journeys.html) (through [nodes](../journeys/auth-nodes.html)). Create [auth scripts](../developer-docs/scripting-auth.html) or [Custom endpoints](../developer-docs/scripting-custom-endpoints.html) for greater extensibility.

* Configure migration by levering appropriate S2S migration tools including:

  * [OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect](../realms/applications.html#oauth_2_0_and_openid_connect)

  * [SAML 2.0](../am-saml2/preface.html)

  * [Policies](../am-authorization/configuring-policies.html)

* Integrate applications with Advanced Identity Cloud:

  * Standard-based applications:

    * [OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect](../realms/applications.html#oauth_2_0_and_openid_connect)

    * [SAML 2.0](../am-saml2/preface.html)

  * Non-standard based applications such as [Gateways & agents](../realms/gateways-agents.html)

  * [SDK-integrated applications](../end-user/sdks.html)

* Design and configure [authorization policies](../am-authorization/configuring-policies.html).

* Determine the [UI](../end-user/end-user-ux-options.html) strategy for your organization.
