# Assign admin portal groups

Add user groups to administrative roles, allowing them to single sign-on (SSO) into those administrative roles.

## Steps

1. Go to **Setup > Dock > Admin Portal SSO**.

2. Assign user groups to administrative roles. After authenticating to PingOne, members of these groups can access the admin portal.

For more information about administrative roles and permissions, see [Administrative roles](p14e_administrative_roles.html).

If you're using LDAP groups, this needs to be the full distinguished name (FDN) for the administrator group ("CN=admins,OU=example,…").

Active Directory administrators can use the `dsquery` command on the Active Directory host to find the DN.

3. When you finish assigning groups, click **Save**.
