# Download or share a certificate

You can download a public verification, signing, or encryption certificate; or share it with others via email.

## About this task

|   | For security reasons, PingOne doesn't allow exporting the private key of signing certificates. |

## Steps

1. Go to **Setup > Certificates**.

2. **Optional:** Click the **All Certificates** drop-down to filter certificates by type.

3. Expand the certificate and click either:

   ### Choose from:

   * **Download** to download the certificate.

   * **Share** to email the certificate to one or more email addresses.
