# Suspend a customer account

## Before you begin

If you have a PingOne for Managed Service Providers account, you can suspend one of your customer accounts. This doesn't remove the account, but does remove the customer's ability to single sign-on (SSO) to PingOne or to access the admin portal. You can subsequently reactivate an account when the account status changes.

## About this task

You'll choose a customer account to suspend. You need either to be a Global Admnistrator or Support Administrator (Read/Write) to suspend an account.

## Steps

1. Select the **Customers** tab.

2. For the customer account, click in the green area (left) of the toggle button to suspend the account.

   ### Result:

The customer will be unable to SSO or to access the admin portal.

3. To reactivate the account, click the grey area (right) of the toggle button.
