# Creating or editing application-specific credentials

Create **Client ID** and **Client Secret** values for your applications.

## About this task

|   | The application credentials feature is currently in limited release. To request access to this feature, open a support ticket. |

## Steps

1. Go to **Account > Integration > Application Credentials**.

2. To add a new set of credentials, click **Add Secret**.

   |   | An application can be associated with multiple credentials. You can create a maximum of 30 application credentials. |

3. **Optional:** In the **Short Description** field, enter a description for the application connection.

4. In the **Application** list, select the application for which you want to create credentials.

5. Click **Done**.

   ### Result:

   The new application credentials are displayed.

6. To edit existing credentials, expand the credentials and click the **Pencil** icon.

   Editing an existing credential allows you to change the **Description**.

   |   | The **Application SaaSID**, **Client ID**, and **Client Secret** values cannot be changed.If you need a new **Client Secret**, you must create a new credential. |
