# Creating or editing additional Connection API credentials

Create **Client ID** and **Client Secret** values for specific customer connections.

## About this task

|   | The connection API credentials feature is currently in limited release. To request access to this feature, open a support ticket. |

## Steps

1. Go to **Account > Integration > Connection API Credentials**.

2. To add a new set of credentials, click **Add Secret**.

   |   |                                                                  |
   | - | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
   |   | You can create a maximum of three connection client credentials. |

3. **Optional:** In the **Short Description** field, enter a description for the application connection.

4. Click **Next**.

5. **Optional:** In the **Client Secret** box, enter a client secret to replace the automatically-generated secret value.

6. Click **Done**.

   ### Result:

   The new application credentials are displayed.

7. To edit existing credentials, expand the credentials and click the **Pencil** icon.

   Editing an existed credential allows you to change the **Short Description** and **Client Secret**. The **Client ID** value cannot be changed.

## Result

Any of your clients that will use the PingOne SSO for SaaS Apps Customer Connection API will use these credentials
