# Testing your application using the built-in IdP

PingOne SSO for SaaS Apps automatically creates connections to the internal Test identity provider (IdP) which you can use to test your multiplexed SAML applications and applications enabled through PingOne SSO for SaaS Apps.

## Before you begin

Your application must be enabled before you can test the integration.

## About this task

Use the PingOne SSO for SaaS Apps Test IdP to test your application integration. For security reasons, connections to the PingOne SSO for SaaS Apps Test IdP are disabled by default and are enabled only when you select to test your application.

## Steps

1. In the PingOne SSO for SaaS Apps administrator portal, go to **Applications > My Applications**.

2. Click the **Test** button associated with your application.

   ### Result:

   The **Test Integration** pop-up window opens.

3. Click the **Start Single Sign-On** link.

   ### Result:

   The sign-on page for the PingOne SSO for SaaS Apps Test IdP opens.

4. Enter the **User Id** and **Password** for a test user and click **Login**.

   Use the following automatically-generated test user names:

   * `test@testidp.connect.pingidentity.com`

   * `testuser1@testidp.connect.pingidentity.com`

   * `testuser2@testidp.connect.pingidentity.com`

   * `testuser3@testidp.connect.pingidentity.com`

   * `testuser4@testidp.connect.pingidentity.com`

   * `testuser5@testidp.connect.pingidentity.com`

   * `testuser6@testidp.connect.pingidentity.com`

   * `testuser7@testidp.connect.pingidentity.com`

   The password for each of these user IDs is `test`.
