# View certificate usage

You can view a list of the applications, connections, and customer IdP connections associated with a signing, verification, or encryption certificate.

## Steps

1. Click **Setup > Certificates**.

2. In the row for the certificate that you want to view, click to expand the details.

3. Click **Usage**.

   ### Result:

   A list of applications, connections, and/or customer IdP connections associated with the certificate is displayed.

4. Click an application or identity repository to update it.

   ### Result:

   A popup window opens showing the options for the multiplexed SAML application or customer IdP connection. You can only update the usage for multiplexed SAML applications and customer IdP connections that you manage.
