# Getting started with Agent Privilege

This guide takes you from trial sign-up to verified discovery, using a test environment, a small evaluation group, and a single workstation. When you're done, the Endpoint Controller is installed and reporting to your PingOne Privilege environment, and Agent Privilege can discover personal agents on that workstation.

The tasks in this guide cover personal agent discovery only. For workload agents and non-human identities, continue with [Agent Privilege use cases](../use-cases/index.html) after completing these getting started tasks.
