# Requesting access to AWS IAM roles

Request just-in-time (JIT) access to AWS identity and access management (IAM) roles:

1. In the PingOne Privilege user console, go to **Cloud > Targets**.

2. Select the AWS account and select the roles for JIT access. After the role is granted, it opens in the portal.

3. Click **Sign In** to access the AWS console without a password.

4. Copy the profile name to use with the AWS CLI.
