Note:

Branch names must be unique. No two branches in the Policy Editor can share the same name.

  1. Sign on to the Policy Editor.
  2. Choose how to create the branch per the following table.
    To create a new top-level branch fromDo this
    The startup window Specify a Branch name and click Create new branch.
    Branch Manager
    From Branch Manager > Version Control, you can create a new root, or top-level, branch:
    1. From the + menu, select Create new root branch.
    2. For the name, replace Untitled with a name for your new branch.
    3. Click Save Branch.
