If the replication changelog, <server-root>/changelogDb, is compromised because of a disk or NAS failure, you can recover a replication changelog.

To recover a replication changelog:

Stop the server.

Backup replicationChanges from a remote server using the following command.

$ bin/backup --backupDirectory /app/backups/replicationChanges \
  --backendID replicationChanges

Copy the replicationChanges backup from the remote server and restore it on the local host using the following command.
```
$ bin/restore --backupDirectory /app/tmp/replicationChanges
                
```
Start the server.
