To enable alerts, you must configure an alert rule for the current environment. An alert rule includes information about which events trigger an alert and which email addresses will receive the alert.

  1. Go to Monitoring > Alerts.
  2. Click Add rule.
  3. Enter the following:
    • Alert types to include: The event types that will trigger the alert.
      Note:

      One of the triggers for the Data Quality Issue alert is the absence of data from the PingOne Signals (Protect) SDK. If you have activated this alert but have chosen not to implement the Signals SDK in your applications, you will occasionally receive email notifications regarding this missing data.

    • Email addresses: The addresses to which the alert will be sent. You can specify individual email addresses or mailing lists.
    Tip:

    If you have entered multiple email addresses, you might want to copy them to the clipboard before saving the rule so that you can use them for additional rules that you want to create.

  4. Click Save.
