Policy deployment enhancements
We’ve redesigned API Access Management to enhance the policy management experience for administrators. With improved policy targeting and a policy tree that includes both basic and custom policies, you can start with basic rules and seamlessly add fine-grained policies for comprehensive coverage of your organization’s authorization use cases. A dedicated decision endpoint for each API service streamlines the deployment process. For more information, see API services.
Two new roles added
We've added two new roles to allow PingOne users to access DaVinci. The DaVinci Admin role grants full access to DaVinci, and the DaVinci Admin Read Only role grants read-only access. For more information, see Roles.
We've enhanced the Policy ID field to the Create Device Authentication Capability that enables you to override the MFA policy that is configured in the MFA connector settings. For information, see PingOne connector
In preparation for a future feature, we've added the Policy ID field to the Create Device Authentication capabilities.
Microsoft 365 Graph PowerShell cmdlets
PingOne now supports Graph PowerShell cmdlets for configuring Microsoft 365 applications in PingOne. The older MSOnline cmdlets are being deprecated by Microsoft. Use the Graph PowerShell cmdlets to ensure future compatibility with Microsoft 365 applications. For more information, see Adding Microsoft 365 to PingOne.
Admin Activity Report details masked
We’ve fixed an issue that was inadvertently causing some email addresses in the PingOne Admin Activity Report to be masked. This issue affected only PingID environments that are connected to PingOne.
SMS delivery code enhancement
To avoid SMS delivery issues associated with the use of Long Codes (LC) in some US territories, and to improve resiliency, Ping Identity's SMS service now uses short codes (SC) and Toll-Free Numbers (TFN) only.
Added Support for Voice Verification
PingOne Verify now supports capturing a voice for enrollment or verification. You can configure voice policies for enrollment and verification in PingOne Verify policies. For more information, see Introduction to PingOne Verify.
Zoom provisioning - Server-to-Server OAuth for Zoom apps
PingOne now supports authentication through a Server-to-Server OAuth application for provisioning to Zoom. Zoom has deprecated the JWT app type, so you should create new applications with the Server-to-Server OAuth type. For more information, see Creating a Zoom connection.
GitHub EMU provisioning
PingOne now supports GitHub EMU (Enterprise Managed Users) for outbound provisioning. You can synchronize PingOne identities to GitHub EMU using the provisioning connector. For more information, see Provisioning.
Notification when new device added
MFA device reports generated with API - new fields available
New fields have been added to the information that can be included in MFA device reports generated with the PingOne API. For details, see Reporting.
PingOne Protect data alert
The list of PingOne alerts that admins can choose to activate now includes a Data Quality Issue alert. If admins activate this alert, they receive email notifications if risk detection is being negatively impacted by a large percentage of internal IPs being reported or by a large percentage of events that are missing the information provided by the PingOne Signals (Protect) SDK.
