To add a translatable key:

  1. In the Edit Form section of a form, click on a section of your form that includes text to localize.

A side panel with the element's configuration settings opens.

  2. Click the Translation (An image of the universal translation icon.) icon.

A modal with a list of the available keys and their default translations opens.

  3. Select the appropriate Key.

If you're adding translatable keys for a button, the appropriate Key is Button.text, where Submit is the default translation.

  4. Optional: To define a unique key and default translation, select Create New Key.
  5. Click Select.

A key is added to the field with the Translation (An image of the universal translation icon.) icon.

  6. Optional: Click the key and enter a custom default translation in the Enter Default Translation field. Click Save.

Repeat the steps for elements in the form with user-facing text. After you have added translatable keys, you must configure which languages are enabled for translation in the User Experience > Languages section. For more information, see Enabling or disabling a language.
