See Allow self registration for new directory users for instructions to enable self registration.

You need to be either a Global Administrator, Identity Repository Administrator, or have at least User Manager entitlements to approve a new directory user.

If you've configured self-registration to require approval, after a new directory user registers, you will need to approve their access to PingOne.

  1. Go to Users > User Directory > Users.
    Users who have self-registered and haven't yet been approved have a Status value of Pending Approval.
  2. For the user to approve, click the down-arrow next to the Details button and click Approve.
    The user status changes to Enabled and the user can now access PingOne.
  3. Repeat these steps for any additional new users to approve.
