If you're using the PingOne for Enterprise Directory Password Credential Validator for PingFederate, you can allow your users to change or reset their passwords.

Ensure your PingFederate adapter is set to allow password changes, then have your users choose to change their passwords when they sign on.

  1. Set your PingFederate adapter configuration to allow password changes.

    For instructions on setting this adapter, see Configure the HTML Form IdP Adapter.

    Enabling password changes or resets adds a selection to change the password to your users' sign-on (SSO) prompt.

  2. Notify your users that they can elect to change their changes their passwords when they sign on.
