Before you install the PingDataMetrics Server, you must configure the servers you want to monitor:
- PingDirectory Server
- PingDirectoryProxy Server
- PingDataSync Server
The PingDataMetrics Server requires all servers to be 3.5.0 or later. See the administration guides for each product for installation instructions.
After you have installed Directory Server, use the dsconfig
tool to make configuration changes for the PingDataMetrics Server. When using the
dsconfig tool interactively, set the complexity level to
Advanced so that you can make all the necessary configuration
changes.
