To map the HTML login form adapter to the local identity provider, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to Identity Provider -> Policies -> Add Policy and do the following;
    • For Name, add a name (for example, DS-DA)
    • For Policy, select your HTML form adapter listed under IdP Adapters. (for example, PingDirectoryIdp- (Adapter)).
    • For Fail, click Done.
    • For Success, select PingDirectoryIdP. Another Fail and Success are displayed.
      • For Fail, click Done
      • For Success, click on the arrow. A popup window displays.
  2. Click the arrow and find the Local Identity Profiles option.
  3. Select your local identity profile.
  4. Click Local Identity Mapping and do the following:
    • For inbound mapping, select pf.local.identity.unique.id
    • For source. select Adapter (for example, PingDirectoryIdP).
    • For value, select entryUUID.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Click Next. Do not enter anything for Attribute Sources.
  7. Click Next. For contract fulfillment, map the subject (required) to Adapter for Source and to entryUUID for the value.
  8. Click Next. Issuance Criteria is displayed.
  9. Click Next. Summary is displayed.
  10. Click Done to save the Local Identity mapping.
  11. Click Done to save your new Authentication Policy entry.
  12. Click Save to save your Authentication Policies change.
