Starting with PingCentral version 3.0, PingFederate extended properties are displayed in PingCentral templates. Administrators can set these values when they configure templates, and the applications created from these templates inherit them. Application owners can also update these values, unless the extended property is designated as read-only.

We’ve fixed the issues users experienced when promoting applications created from templates that were configured prior to version 3.0. Because PingCentral applications and templates did not include extended properties in earlier versions, empty values could overwrite the existing values in the PingFederate client or connection.

PingFederate extended property values are no longer overwritten, and the extended property values are visible in PingCentral templates and applications when you refresh the page.
