PingOne gateways act as a bridge between your on-premise infrastructure and PingOne. A PingOne gateway enables you to authenticate user identities and data that is stored in an internal or external directory.
You can create the following gateways.
Gateway type | Description of use |

Authenticate users in PingOne when their credentials are stored in an external directory. It can also be used as a simple solution to migrate identities to the PingOne user store. Kerberos authentication is also supported. |

Authenticate users that are authenticating to a Remote network access server. |
