Ping Advanced Identity Software

Release notes

Ping Advanced Identity Software provides a comprehensive security solution with access management, identity management, user-managed access, directory services, an identity gateway, and more. Advanced Identity Software offers maximum extensibility and flexibility in self-managed deployments.

Ping Advanced Identity Software was formerly known as the Ping Identity Platform.

These release notes provide information on self-managed deployments of the following products:

  • PingAM

  • PingIDM

  • PingDS

  • PingGateway

If you don’t need maximum extensibility and flexibility, there are simpler alternatives to a self-managed solution:

  • To consume Ping Advanced Identity Software as a service, use PingOne or Advanced Identity Cloud instead.

  • To deploy Ping Advanced Identity Software in Kubernetes, start with the ForgeOps reference implementation.
