Creating a new top-level branch
The PingAuthorize Policy Editor allows you to create a new branch in two ways: using the startup window or the Branch Manager.
About this task
Branch names must be unique. No two branches in the Policy Editor can share the same name. |
Steps

Sign on to the Policy Editor.

Choose how to create the branch per the following table.
To create a new top-level branch from Do this The startup window
Specify a Branch name and click Create new branch.
Branch Manager
From Branch Manager → Version Control, you can create a new root, or top-level, branch:

From the menu, select Create new root branch.

For the name, replace Untitled with a name for your new branch.

Click Save Branch.
You can not create more than 100 top-level branches in the Policy Editor, including system and self-governance branches.
