Resolving issues with deleting copies
About this task
After upgrading from a version of PingAuthorize earlier than 10.1 and attempting to delete a copy of a Policy Editor element, that copy might persist in the UI and return an error when selected. To troubleshoot:
Steps
-
Make a new copy of the element with the copies that you’re trying to delete.
-
Delete the element.
Result:
The element and its original copies disappear from the Policy Editor UI.
-
Rename the copy that you created in step 2 and remove [Copy of] from the element’s name.
Result
You can delete copies of Policy Editor elements and they will disappear from the UI.
