Configuring database access

After the databases are managed, securely store the database login details on the PingOne Privilege platform.

  1. Go to Targets.

  2. Locate your database and click the More Info button.

  3. Click the Run Check button. If the gateway has connectivity to the database, the cluster information will automatically be populated.

  4. Record the username and password needed for database access. These credentials will be used when the gateway connects to the database.

Alternatively, connect to the database using cloud provider identity and access management (IAM) permissions.
