What is Human Privilege?
Human Privilege is the privileged access management (PAM) capability of PingOne Privilege. It provides secure, frictionless access for administrators and developers to cloud infrastructure and resources, including servers, databases, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud CLI tools. Human Privilege improves security by leveraging just-in-time (JIT) access to replace long-standing credentials and secrets with dynamic, targeted permissions that are revoked when they expire.
Key features include:
- Passwordless access
-
Using Trusted Platform Module (TPM) technology, PingOne Privilege eliminates passwords and shared credentials by storing cryptographic keys in a user’s device, ensuring only authorized users can authenticate and access resources.
- Self-service portal
-
Developers can request access to specific resources and permissions through a streamlined self-service portal, simplifying, and speeding up access management.
- Multi-cloud identity governance
-
PingOne Privilege automates risk analysis and manages dynamic permissions across multi-cloud environments.
- Real-time monitoring and control
-
Admins gain real-time visibility into who is accessing resources, as well as their device, their location, and the duration of their session. Admins can also instantly terminate suspicious sessions.
- Universal service
-
PingOne Privilege integrates with the PingOne cloud platform and PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud, providing unified access management and identity governance. Organizations leveraging the PingOne ecosystem benefit from consistent security policies, centralized administration, and a streamlined user experience.
