PingOne Advanced Services

Internet-only network

The Internet only option allows you to access your on-premise and cloud-based resources using the public internet. You can also connect to on-premise directories for authentication purposes, but you do not have access to the PingOne Advanced Services LDAP endpoint.

This option is best if you have cloud and premise-based applications that can be exposed to the public internet, and when:

  • PingFederate is used as a global authentication authority.

  • Standards-based integrations are used to access applications on your network.

  • Standards-based integrations are used with SaaS applications.

  • Identity and access management solutions are used on your network.
