Creating or editing additional Connection API credentials

Create Client ID and Client Secret values for specific customer connections.

About this task

The connection API credentials feature is currently in limited release. To request access to this feature, open a support ticket.

Steps

  1. Go to Account → Integration → Connection API Credentials.

  2. To add a new set of credentials, click Add Secret.

    You can create a maximum of three connection client credentials.

  3. Optional: In the Short Description field, enter a description for the application connection.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Optional: In the Client Secret box, enter a client secret to replace the automatically-generated secret value.

  6. Click Done.

    Result:

    The new application credentials are displayed.

  7. To edit existing credentials, expand the credentials and click the Pencil icon.

    Editing an existed credential allows you to change the Short Description and Client Secret. The Client ID value cannot be changed.

Result

Any of your clients that will use the PingOne SSO for SaaS Apps Customer Connection API will use these credentials
