Creating an Admin-API client

Create an API client to grant dedicated access to subscription endpoints.

About this task

Admin-API clients allow you to grant access to subscription endpoints without creating additional administrator accounts.

The use of the following special characters is forbidden in the Client Name and Description fields.

Steps

  1. Go to Dashboard > Reporting > API Clients.

  2. Click Add API Client.

  3. In the Client Name field, enter a name.

  4. Optional: In the Short Description field, enter a description .

  5. Click Next.

  6. Optional: To generate a new shared secret for this client, click New Secret.

  7. Click Done.

Result

The new client appears on the API Clients tab.
